A no-code builder if you want to start today, pay monthly and do the work yourself. A done-for-you studio if you want it shaped around what you sell and would rather not become an app manager.

The real difference shows at the edges. A template handles a normal catalogue well and an unusual one badly, and most stores are unusual in at least one way.
