Should prices be shown in AED or USD?

AED for anyone selling to the UAE. A price in dollars asks the customer to do arithmetic and signals that the store is foreign, which raises questions about delivery and returns.

Why the answer is what it is

If you sell across the region, detect and default rather than offering a currency menu. The moment a buyer has to convert mentally is the moment the purchase becomes a comparison.

What this looks like in practice
