What sells best on a live stream?
Anything with a decision in it. Items people are uncertain about — how it fits, how large it is, how it behaves — sell well, because the stream resolves the uncertainty while attention is still there.
What decides it
What does not sell is the commodity line a viewer can price-compare in ten seconds. Put that on a stream and an hour of attention becomes a comparison-shopping session on somebody else’s site.
The part that gets skipped
A live stream that sells is a rehearsed show with a host who knows the stock, not a phone propped against a shelf.
The commercial trick is not the video. It is buying inside the video, because sending somebody to a product page loses most of them on the way.
Recorded short-form outperforms live for most small stores: the same content, none of the scheduling, and it keeps working.
Where an app fits
TicApp built a live shopping tab into Eleganza La Mode — buyable video inside the app, on both stores since December 2025.
