How important is same-day delivery in Dubai?

Important enough to be a reason for choosing one store over another. Same-day is normal here, which makes next-day acceptable and three days a disadvantage.

Why the answer is what it is

It does not have to be free or universal. Offering it as a paid option and meeting it reliably is worth more than promising it broadly and missing, because the promise is what is remembered.

What this looks like in practice

Delivery expectations in the UAE are set by same-day services, and a store shipping in five days is judged against that.

Cash on delivery is still expected in parts of the region, and it changes the economics: a refused delivery costs the shipping both ways and the stock is back with you.
